New building model

In this video, we demonstrate how to create a new model using Bluetooth beacons (BLE).

Perform routing from A to B in an existing Radio Environment Model.

BLE-AoA In a Warehouse

Setting up BLE Angle of Arrival in a warehouse.

The Angle of Arrival (AoA) technology is a direction-finding technique that exploits the impinging angles of arriving signals at the antenna array on the receiver side. Based on these angles, the phase difference of received signals between two antennas can be found and used by direction-finding algorithms to estimate the target position.

Make an indoor survey

  1. Download the Traxmate app to your Android phone from Google Play
  2. Log in to the app Go to the Top Left Menu, and select places.
  3. Select the building and floor where you want indoor positioning enabled in the app. If there is no building, please contact support.
  4. Click Start Indoor Survey and follow the instructions.
    1. Place reference points—The app continuously scans for Wi-Fis and BLEs when performing a survey. To help the system understand your location, click the ‘+’ icon to place reference points. You must pan and zoom so the crosshair is at your current IRL physical location. The more accurate you are, the more precise your indoor positioning.
    2. End the survey and wait for the building model to be automatically published. When the new building model is published, an email is sent to the account administrator. This normally takes 1-2 minutes.
  1.
